Running a supermarket with your friends

Supermarket Together puts you behind the counter of a shop you build and run yourself. You stock shelves, serve customers, keep the place clean and deal with whatever the working day throws at you. The catalogue holds over 300 products, and updates have added categories such as pharmacy, produce, electronics, child care and gardening, so there is plenty to keep the shelves full. As the business grows you can buy more shop space, storage and extra facilities, and a fully improved store can hold up to 49,000 products on its shelves. Departments come into play once things are thriving, letting you prepare online packages for customers or hand the job to your employees.

Playing together online

The game supports online co-op for up to 16 players, and you can also go solo if you prefer. The shared supermarket is the point: everyone works the same store, and the more players behind the counter, the more demanding the customers become. Splitting the work is where it pays off, since one person can handle the tills while another restocks, another watches security and another deals with packaging. Solo players can artificially inflate the difficulty if they want a harder run.

Growing the business

Franchise Points come from running a successful supermarket, and you spend them on the skills blackboard to unlock new products and improve how your employees perform. Catching shoplifters red handed stops money leaking out of the business at the end of the working day, and a CCTV system lets you keep an eye on their activities. Secondary duties matter too: cleaning raises customer happiness, and demolishing pillars opens up better decoration placement and easier navigation for shoppers.

Staff and roles

Eighteen employees are available for hiring, and you can name them and level them up across seven roles: cashier, restock, storage, security, technician, packaging and manufacturing. Once assigned, an employee earns experience in that job and gains advantages from it, so a crew built around your weak spots pays for itself. Going solo still works, since you can hire your own crew to cover the roles you cannot handle yourself.
