Running the corner store
Super Mini Mart is a laid-back supermarket sim where you own the little bodega in town. Your days are built around simple shop work: resupply and fill the aisles before the crowd arrives, use the appliances in the storeroom to keep goods fresh, plan your stock, and run discounts when it suits you. The point is to turn a small start into the store everyone in the neighborhood talks about, growing from micro mart to mini mart. The game keeps the pressure light — the management side is there, but the stress is not, so you can settle into a steady rhythm of stocking and serving without being chased by a timer.
Playing it together
The game carries a Local Co-Op tag, so people on the same screen can share the shop work — one person handling the aisles while another deals with the storeroom, or both of you decorating between customers. Remote Play Together is available, which means friends who are not in the same room can join your session over the network. Either way, the co-op is about splitting the daily tasks of the store rather than competing against each other.
The shop and its regulars
Beyond stocking and selling, the game leans on its cast. The customers are described as a colorful group of endearing characters, each with their own hopes, woes, and favorite indulgences, and you gain their trust over time to unlock friendships and unique storylines. The world itself is a self-contained pastel setting with fat pixels and chirpy music, and you can change the walls and floors to match your mood, buy decorative elements, and follow the seasons from spring greenery to Halloween. Expect a dialogue-heavy experience: a good chunk of the game is talking to people and watching the town come to trust your shop, not just balancing what is on the shelves.
Before you start
Super Mini Mart is in Early Access, so the game is still being developed and things may change as the developers keep working on it. The developers have a Discord where players share creations, look at what others have made, and chat with the team, which is worth joining if you want to follow the game's progress or get ideas for your own store layout.
