What Super Battle Golf is

Super Battle Golf is an online golf game for 1 to 8 players where everyone plays at the same time instead of taking turns. It is a free-for-all rush to the hole: you swing, shoot, sabotage, and try to finish first by any means necessary. The scoring is point-based, and the player with enough points at the end is crowned the top golfer. There are 63 courses spread across different biomes, so you get plenty of holes to work through, with hazards like sand pits, lakes, vegetation, and mines to steer around. You control both the angle and the power of each swing, which is how you plan your approach to a map.

Playing it together as a group

Because everyone is on the course at once, a round feels more like a race than a round of traditional golf. You can hit your friends with your ball, ram them with a golf cart, or fire an orbital laser from halfway across the map. Items are scattered around the courses and come in offensive, defensive, and helpful varieties, so you can use them to stop other players from scoring while you make your way to the hole. Golf carts fit up to 8 people, which means your whole group can pile into one and drive around together. Servers can be private or public, so you can keep a session among friends or open it up. Voice chat is included, which keeps the banter going during a round.

Before you start

Character customization is a big part of the game: hats, eyewear, hair, facial expressions, golf clubs, and more, plus dances and emotes. Some of the options are deliberately silly, like playing with a chicken leg or a fish as a club, and there is a ridiculously tall giraffe head in the mix. Expect a chaotic, colorful third-person experience rather than a simulation — the physics-based play and the item pickups are what drive the matches. It runs as online co-op and online PvP, so a group can team up or go at each other, and there is point-based scoring for solo play when you want to grind on your own.
