A drowned world to survive in
Sunkenland drops you into a near future where water has covered most of the Earth. You explore sunken skyscrapers, nuclear powerplants and subway tunnels, scavenging resources, lost technologies and rare pre-apocalypse items. Underwater is where the good loot sits, but it is also where the unknown danger waits, so you build diving devices to make the trips down safer and longer. Above the surface you deal with the ordinary survival work: gathering food, hunting sharks, growing plants and keeping supplies topped up, since resources are scarce and your base has to become sustainable over time.
Playing it as a group
Online co-op lets you survive the oceanic apocalypse with friends. A group can split the workload naturally: some dive into sunken cities for technology and materials, others work on the base, others run trade routes or raid enemy atolls. Bases, exploration, diving and fights against pirates are all things you do together, so one person is not stuck doing the boring part while the rest play. Trading with friendly atolls works item for item rather than through a universal currency, which means a group that pools its finds can get at weapons, armor and rare items more easily than a solo survivor.
Building, fighting and getting ready
The modular building system lets you put a base wherever it makes sense: a water stronghold, an abandoned ship, or an island penthouse. You need it for resting, crafting, farming and storage, and you decorate it with things found along the way. Because NPC clans of pirates and mutants invade for resources and territory, defense is part of the build: high walls, barbed wire, traps, surveillance systems and artillery. Combat happens on ocean and land with melee weapons, firearms and explosives, plus mounted heavy weapons for destroying enemy boats. Crafting runs through workstations and blueprints, covering tools, weapons, a jetski and even a helicopter, and vehicles like sailboats, jetskis and gyrocopters open up the map. Expect PvE pressure rather than other players, and note that the game is in Early Access, so features can still change.
