What Soak & Splash is

Soak & Splash is a sauna hangout where you sit in the heat with other players and decide for yourself how the session goes. You can just relax, chat, sing, or trade jokes with the people around you, or you can turn it competitive and fight other players using sauna equipment. The game leans on traditional sauna culture: you start in the steamy sauna, feel the heat and humidity, and when you've had enough you head out to the nearby pool or shower to cool off. It's tagged as atmospheric and relaxing, but also as a 3D fighter with PvP, so the tone swings between laid-back social time and playful brawling.

Playing it with your group

Everyone in your group can pile into the same sauna session. Once you're all inside, pick a mood: whisk each other with the broom, start a fight with sauna equipment, or keep it calm and just hang out. The social side is the core of it — chatting, singing, telling jokes, and generally bonding while the steam does its thing. Strangers show up too, since it's a massively multiplayer online game, so a session can easily grow beyond your own group. When the heat gets to be too much, the pool and shower are right there for a cooldown before you head back in.

Before you start

A few things worth knowing up front. The game is in Early Access, so content and balance can shift while it's being developed, and the developers invite players to take part in that process. It's free to play. The tags include both "Relaxing" and "Combat" plus "Sexual Content," so expect a mix of chill social spaces and roughhousing, and check that the content suits everyone in your group before you jump in. It's first-person with 6DOF movement in a stylized 3D world, and online PvP is the main way players interact beyond talking.
