A snow hangout with your friends
Sledding Game is a multiplayer snowsports hangout where the point is spending time together as much as racing. You pick from a range of customizable animal characters, then head out into a snowy world to sled, explore, and see what else is going on. Ragdoll physics are in play, so crashes look terrible in the best way. There's proximity voice chat built in, so you can talk to whoever is nearby or just express yourself by repeatedly crashing into each other.
Racing, tricks, and side activities
If you want competition, race your group to the bottom of the hill or rack up points with gnarly tricks. You can build your own ramps and launch off them for bigger air. When you need a break from the sled, there are minigames and hangout spots to break things up: snowball fights, making snowmen, darts, curling, roasting smores, and drinking hot chocolate in the cozy cabin. Points you earn go toward cosmetics for your character and your sled. Wander too far off the beaten path and a yeti will come kick you back like a football.
What to know before starting
You can join public or private lobbies, so you can sled with your existing group or meet new people. Lobbies support up to 50 players, though the developer notes this is a guess pending further testing and that a full lobby might feel crowded. The game is in Early Access, so expect things to change as development continues. It's made by Max at The Sledding Corporation, his first video game.
