Command the skies in a real-time tactical strategy game

SkyInFlames puts you in charge of drone swarms, mobile air defense groups, S-300 launchers and radars, aviation, and engineering vehicles on a detailed map. You choose to play as Ukrainian or Russian forces and take on the job of keeping cities and strategic facilities intact while the enemy tries to destroy critical infrastructure. The game runs in real time, so you are constantly deciding where to send units, when to engage, and how to keep your troops protected. Engineering groups handle repairs and ammo resupply, and you can deliver supplies by ground or air. Building airfields and organizing their defense is part of the loop. Fuel and missile supplies are limited, the fog of war hides enemy movements, and animations cover maneuvers, takeoff, and landing. Keeping civilian casualties down is a stated goal alongside holding the skies.

Playing together with your group

SkyInFlames offers Online Co-op and Online PvP, so your group can team up or face each other. Three modes are currently available: Player vs AI, Sandbox, and Multiplayer. The store text points to a Discord community for finding a co-op partner. In a co-op session, players work toward the shared objective of keeping facilities intact and preventing the enemy from gaining the upper hand, splitting the load across air defense, logistics, and engineering duties. In PvP, two sides contest the same map and objectives.

What to know before starting

This is an Early Access title in active development, described as an early build demonstrating core mechanics, with a PvE mode (vs. AI) listed as still ahead on the roadmap. The game contains military themes and combat simulation. Expect resource management and time pressure from limited fuel and missiles, plus the fog of war shaping what you can see and react to.
