Command: Modern Operations is a tactical and operational military simulator that puts you in the chair of a Tactical and Theater Commander. You direct joint air, naval, subsurface, ground, space, and cyber operations across a global map, covering conflicts from post-WWII to the near-future. The simulation models real-world ballistics, sensor degradation, thermal ocean layers, line-of-sight geometry, and electronic attack, so engagements play out with a high degree of physical accuracy. You can command thousands of individual units across massive theaters in real time, from carrier strike groups and stealth fighter sweeps to submarine wolfpacks, anti-ship ballistic missiles, orbital assets, and offensive cyber attacks. The database contains tens of thousands of real-world platforms, sensors, and weapon systems modeled from real-world data, and the engine is the commercial sibling of the simulation used by NATO and defense analysts.
Playing Together
Real-Time Multiplayer (RTMP) lets you take command alongside or against fellow commanders in live tactical engagements. You can coordinate joint strike packages and defensive networks with other players, or face them in human-vs-human combat. The Steam features list Online Co-op and Online PvP, so your group can either share a side or split into opposing commands. Because the simulation runs in real time, coordination happens as the battle unfolds rather than in turns.
