A remastered 1998 shooter with a story to tell

SiN Reloaded is a complete remaster of the 1998 first-person shooter from Ritual Entertainment, now handled by Nightdive Studios. You play as security consultant Colonel John R. Blade in a near-future dystopian world, taking on Doctor Elexis Sinclaire, CEO of SinTEK Industries, and her army of genetically-engineered mutants after she starts flooding the streets with a DNA-altering drug. The game runs on the KEX Engine and includes both the original SiN and the Wages of SiN extra mission pack, where you face a mafia boss and a new set of dangerous mutants. Levels are built around interactivity: hack computer terminals with DOS-style code, use elevators and security cameras, and drive vehicles like a forklift, patrol boat and helicopter. Your actions create branching paths, and the combat includes knocking weapons out of opponents' hands and taking area-specific damage.

Playing together

SiN Reloaded supports Online PvP and Remote Play Together, so your group can join up over the internet or share a session from one machine. The Steam features list these two options for playing with others.

Before you start

The remaster offers remastered visuals with HD textures and models, up to 4K resolution at 144 FPS, anti-aliasing, and upgraded 2D screens and menu art, alongside overhauled control schemes and a modernized UI. You can swap between the remastered visuals and the original SiN Gold version at any time. The soundtrack features higher resolution Zak Belika tracks mixed and engineered by Chris Mock, and the game includes brand-new achievements. The store text lists Sexual Content and Gore among the tags, so keep that in mind before jumping in.
