Lead a Legion in Third Person

Shieldwall is a tactical battle simulator where you play as a single character who also commands a squad. You stand under the Eagle and lead your legion, controlling troop formations while fighting on the battlefield yourself. The game mixes action with strategy, so you are both a soldier in the ranks and the leader deciding where those ranks go. Battles are dynamic and played out in 3D with a colorful, comedic take on Roman warfare.

Siege and Defend in One Match

Matches put you in a position where you can siege an enemy and defend your own castle in the same game. You build your own strategy across a match that can involve 2-4 teams, so shifting alliances and competing goals are part of the fight. Online PvP lets you take your squad against other players. The campaign covers Caesar's real battles if you prefer to play through them on your own.

Before You Start

The game leans casual and funny rather than grim, so expect comedy alongside the warfare. It works as a singleplayer experience through the campaign, and the strategy side means you are thinking about formations and objectives, not just swinging a weapon. Physics play into how battles unfold, so plans can go sideways once the shields meet.
