A cooperative card battle with comic book heroes
Sentinels of the Multiverse is a digital adaptation of the hit card game where you control a team of comic book heroes against a villain in a dynamic environment. Each turn follows simple rules: Play a Card, Use a Power, and Draw a Card. What makes the game interesting is that each card has special abilities that can create powerful combos or even change the rules of the game. The digital version includes all content from the core game: 10 Heroes (Absolute Zero, Bunker, Fanatic, Haka, Legacy, Ra, Tachyon, Tempest, The Visionary, & The Wraith), 4 Villains (Baron Blade, Citizen Dawn, Grand Warlord Voss, & Omnitron), and 4 Environments (Insula Primalis, Megalopolis, Ruins of Atlantis, & Wagner Mars Base). Combining these gives over 9,000 different potential battles.
Playing together with your group
You can play solo with three to five heroes, or pass & play with your friends on the same device. Online multiplayer lets you join heroes from around the globe, with cross-platform support so friends on different setups can play together. Online Co-op and Remote Play Together are available as Steam features. The game is fully cross-compatible with Sentinels of Earth-Prime: if both games are installed on the same computer, you can play with all owned content from within either game.
Before you start
Several unlockable variant cards are included, with variant heroes offering alternate powers and backstory, and variant villains bringing a new twist to the battle. All are unlocked via secret Sentinels storyline-based challenges. Expansion packs that add new heroes, villains, and environments are available as downloadable content. Fan-created decks and variants are supported via Steam Workshop. Every rule and interaction has been carefully adapted and tested by expert Sentinels players and the designer himself, so the game handles rules questions for you. Original music includes the official Sentinels Theme Song, ambient tracks for each environment, and ending themes for each villain, with artwork for every Hero and Villain created by Sentinels of the Multiverse artist Adam Rebottaro.
