Build big worlds with tiny detail
SculptrVR is a voxel creation tool built for VR. Its 10,000x zoom means you can shape something enormous and still work on the smallest details inside it, so a single sculpture can stretch from a broad landscape down to fine surface work. The creation tools are described as both intuitive and powerful, which points at a low barrier to entry without a ceiling on what you can make. Beyond hand-building, you can procedurally generate a landscape and then dig into it — the game warns you not to delve too deep, so underground exploration has its own risks. When a build is finished, you can export it to FBX or OBJ for 3D printing or for sharing elsewhere.
Play together online
Invite friends into your online game and work in the same world. Building side by side is the core of it, but the game also gives you structured ways to play against each other: race to the finish with hang-gliders, or switch to climbing mode for a different kind of challenge. Online co-op and online PvP are both listed as supported, so a group can alternate between making things together and competing in them. The interactive gallery holds thousands of creations you can open up and explore, and anything you find there can be remixed however you like. When you and your group are happy with a build, you can upload it to the SculptrVR content gallery for other people to see.
Things to know before starting
Destruction is part of the toolkit as much as building is — rockets let you blow apart what you just made, which is a quick way to reset a world or just have fun with it. Expect a game that leans on your own creativity rather than a fixed objective: there is no single prescribed way to spend time in a world, and the modes on offer are there to give shape when you want one. Since the whole thing is VR-based, plan your sessions around being in a headset, and keep in mind that the gallery and online play mean other people's work will be part of your experience from the start.
