A one-hit samurai duel
Sclash is a 2D samurai fighting game where a single hit kills. You play a hand-drawn samurai in painted settings, and every duel is a slow, tense standoff rather than a button-mashing brawl. The stamina system gives you room to breathe: fights are paced like solemn duels, so you have time and space to think about what you do next. Manage your stamina and breath, wait for the right moment, and land one deadly strike. With only 3 buttons and no combos, the controls are easy to pick up — the store text says you can learn to play in 5 minutes or less.
Playing together
Sclash supports Online PvP, so you can fight friends or other players over the internet. Remote Play Together is also available, which lets people join in through streaming when you play. The fight starts as soon as you click play, so there is no long setup before the action. The game also has local multiplayer and singleplayer modes, so you can practice on your own or sit down with someone on the same setup.
Before you start
Expect short, deliberate rounds where positioning and patience matter more than long attack chains. Every slash counts, and a mistake can end the duel immediately, so the pressure builds with each move. The hand-drawn art and stylized 2.5D presentation set a calm, atmospheric tone between those sudden finishes. Character customization is available, so you can adjust how your samurai looks before heading in. If you want to find opponents, take part in playtests and events, submit ideas, follow development, report bugs, or talk with the developers and other players, the game's Discord server is the place to do that.
