An endless school full of anomalies
School 666 is a co-op survival horror game where you wake up in a school that never ends. Your job is simple to say and hard to do: decide whether the hallway ahead is safe, and make it out alive. Anything around you can turn into an anomaly, from a chair or a set of stationery to the blackboard or the classroom itself. Some of them will frighten you, others will catch you off guard in a stranger way. The game includes more than 100 anomalies to discover across its stages.
Playing together with friends
You can play alone or with up to three friends in online co-op. On the normal levels, the group checks each stretch of corridor for anything out of place. If something is wrong, everyone turns back the way they came. If the path looks clean, you push forward. Every six normal levels, a powerful anomaly pulls the group into one of its own dimensions. There are more than 20 of these abnormal dimensions, and each one runs on its own set of rules. The team has to work out what those rules are and find a way out.
Before you start
Expect a linear journey with multiple endings, told in first person. The run takes around 6 to 10 hours on average. Boss levels are less about spotting a changed object and more about reading the level's unique rule and escaping through it, so a wrong call sends you back to the origin. Going in with a group that talks through what it sees helps, since the anomalies rarely announce themselves.
