What Runeverse is

Runeverse is a tactical 8-player Card Auto Battler set in a fantasy realm with hand-drawn, cartoony art. You build your deck for free and then put your strategy to the test in tournaments where the outcome comes down to your decisions rather than luck alone. The game is in Early Access and covers genres from casual to strategy, with online PvP at its core.

Playing together

Your group queues into 8-player Autobattler tournaments and competes against each other in real time. Before the fight starts, you pick two of the six Factions to form your Alliance, and the strengths and weaknesses of those Factions shape how your army works together. During a match you assemble your army on the fly from over 100 available minions instead of building a deck beforehand, so every round is about reading the board and choosing the right units. Random effects exist, but they are meant to be used judiciously and sparingly, which keeps the focus on tactical choices.

Before you start

Runeverse is free to play with a progression system that unlocks everything through daily quests and trophies, and there is no pay-to-win element. Packs never give duplicate cards, so your collection grows steadily. The card pool includes more than 100 minions across six Factions, and the game is still in Early Access, so expect things to change as it develops.
