What RoboSkate is

RoboSkate puts you in charge of a robotic arm that is stuck to a skateboard. Moving is the first obstacle: you have to work with physics rather than against it, rolling the board and whirring the motors to get anywhere. Once basic movement starts to click, the levels introduce sinister twists, bends and ledges that push the difficulty higher. The campaign is short and packed with challenge, and the setting is a divine realm. The main run takes around 2-3 hours, though it can take much longer if the controls do not come easily.

Playing together

RoboSkate supports local split-screen for up to 4 players, so a group can tackle the campaign side by side. The shared screen is where the comedy lands, since everyone is wrestling with the same awkward motion at once. Remote Play Together is also available, which lets friends join in over a connection. Alongside the campaign, there are mini-levels for players who want a bigger challenge after the main journey.

Before you start

Expect a steep learning curve: the game is tagged as difficult, and the physics-based controls take time to master. The campaign is short by design, but a rough session can stretch it out. Speedrun timing is shown at the end of a run completed in one sitting, so a clean attempt from start to finish is what counts. Unique achievements are on offer for those chasing extra goals, and a chill jazzy soundtrack runs underneath the whole thing.
