Fast-paced arena shooting
Reflex Arena is a competitive first-person arena shooter built by Turbo Pixel Studios. It takes the speed, precision and freedom of 90s shooters like Quake III Arena and Unreal Tournament and puts them in a modern 3D engine. There are no chest-high walls to hide behind and no story about the horrors of war. It is fast, competitive, first-person fun where you move quickly, aim precisely and fight for control of the arena.
Playing together with your group
The game is built for online PvP, and it supports group play. You can jump into classic modes like free-for-all, team deathmatch, capture the flag, and one-on-one or two-on-two duels. Mutators such as big head, arena and instagib change the rules for a different kind of match. Smart matchmaking helps you find games, and there are championship ladders and statistics tracking for groups that want to compete seriously. If you prefer to keep things among friends, personal servers and full LAN support let you play your own way without lag getting in the way. When nobody is online, AI-controlled bots can fill the arena so you can keep practicing.
Things to know before starting
Reflex Arena is in Early Access, and the developers note that new features are still coming, including competitive seasons with leaderboards and points redeemable for cosmetic items. Random item drops give you hundreds of cosmetic upgrades to personalize your character, and you can trade them with other players through Steam Inventory. The game includes full Steam Workshop support for browsing and downloading community content. You can also build a custom map inside the game, solo or with others, test it right away and upload it to the cloud. Lua scripting lets you customize the UI, and an in-game replay editor lets you put together highlight reels and frag films. Expect a demanding, twitch-based experience that rewards quick reflexes and precise aim.
