What Operation: Tango Is
Operation: Tango is an espionage-themed cooperative adventure set in a high-tech near-future world. You and a partner form an exclusive team of two, taking on the roles of AGENT and HACKER. Together you investigate, hack and infiltrate to bring a high-tech global menace to its knees. The missions take place across the globe and lean on augmented reality tools, giving the game a hyper-connected, futuristic look. The tone mixes thriller tension with friendly banter, so the constant communication between partners can produce both heartfelt and funny moments.
How the Friend Pass Works
The Friend Pass lets a friend play the full Operation: Tango game for free with someone who owns the full game. It takes two to save the world, but it only takes one to pay for it. The Friend Pass also works as a demo: two players who both downloaded it can try the game's first mission together. Cross-platform play is enabled, so you can team up with a person who is not on the same platform as you. There are no achievements on this free version of the game.
Playing Together
This is online co-op only and requires a microphone. Each of you sees something different, and you combine those points of view to solve puzzles focused on communication rather than difficulty. The missions cannot be completed alone, so you need to talk constantly and share what you see. One of you works as the AGENT in the field while the other guides from the HACKER side, and both roles matter for every step. A free content update adds the Challenge mode, which brings a new area to explore, new puzzles to solve and new robots to hack.
