A moving home on a living beast
Notmads is an open world action RPG where you play as a mage. Your home sits on the back of a living beast that carries it across a handcrafted world. You can stay with your beast or move ahead on your own while it follows. The home is more than shelter: its core powers magical stations where you refine materials, brew potions, and automate parts of your base. You can add utilities and defensive towers to turn it into a moving fortress. Gathering works through your Magical Beam instead of axes or pickaxes, and you can improve the beam over time to unlock new ways to gather.
Fighting with magic and shaping your build
You are not locked into one magical path. You can focus on a single style or mix fire, frost, lightning, arcane power, and physical strength. Spells come with different tiers, stats, and variations, and your gear, perks, and choices define how you fight. Loot has different effects and strengths, and you can improve and customize gear to fit your playstyle. The world is handcrafted and meant to be explored at your own pace, with towns, caves, camps, dungeons, and hidden places to find better loot and new materials.
Playing together
You can play solo or with up to 5 players online. Everyone shares the same living beast and builds on the same moving home, exploring together in a shared world. You can play in first or third person. Before starting, know that Notmads is in Early Access.
