A crossover fighter built for chaos
Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel is a 2D fighting game from EXAMU, the team behind Arcana Heart, made together with visual novel publisher Nitroplus. You pick a main fighter and two partners from a roster of heroines drawn from Nitroplus products, then fight in fast-paced rounds where combos are easy to execute but the depth takes time to learn. Assist calls can put up to six characters on screen at once, so matches stay busy. Big 'Lethal Blaze' attacks fill the screen with flashy finishers. SUPER SONICO is in the cast, and this PC release adds Homura from SENRAN KAGURA and Heart from Arcana Heart, both of which were premium DLC in their console versions.
Playing together
Online PvP is the main way to play against others, and leaderboards track your climb as you take on challengers. Remote Play Together is also supported, so one person can host and others can join in from their own controllers. The partner system means your team choice matters as much as your main fighter, and with assists on the field you are reading more than one character at a time. Expect quick rounds that reward knowing when to call in help and when to spend your Lethal Blaze.
Before you start
This PC version is updated to the latest arcade version popular in Japan, with rebalanced fighters, added background animations, and extra winning poses. It also includes all DLC from the console release in one package. The game carries tags for sexual content and nudity, so keep that in mind for your group. It is an arcade-style fighter with a great soundtrack and anime presentation, and the source material references land best if you know Nitroplus titles, though the fighting stands on its own.
