A first-person dungeon crawl built for groups

Nevergrind Online is a multiplayer first-person dungeon crawl RPG with real-time combat. You create a hero from 14 races and 14 classes, allocate attributes to match how you want to play, and level up 12 unique skills per class alongside 30 talents. Your adventure starts in the Kingdom of Edenburg, where trade routes are under siege and the King hands out missions. Between runs you spend time in town across seven buildings: a tavern, an apothecary, a blacksmith, a merchant, an academy, a guild hall, and a bank. There you buy potions, weapons, armor, and scrolls, upgrade skills, and unlock bank and inventory space with gold, the in-game currency. There are no microtransactions and no cash shop.

How your group plays together

Parties hold up to five players. You can also go solo, and the King offers missions suited to both. Classes are generally built around tank, healer, dps, or utility roles, but those roles are not rigid, so your group can experiment. Once underground, the party leader navigates the procedurally generated dungeon while everyone else casts spells, fights, or calls out which way to go. Each mission has a target to find and eliminate, and clearing it sends you back to town for the next one. Team up to take on tougher challenges for better rewards. A chat system covers direct messages, party chat, private rooms, and guild chat, and a mailbox system is available too.

What to know before starting

Dungeons are procedurally generated, so layouts change with every quest, and there are dozens of quests across 14 zones in the world of Vandamor. Expect more than 50 monster types including orcs, skeletons, and golems, plus uniques, champions, and bosses with their own traits. Loot runs deep: thousands of items with magical, rare, set, and unique tiers, where magical, rare, and unique items carry dynamic properties while set and unique items keep fixed property types with varying values. Wearing multiple set pieces unlocks set bonuses, and you can trade items with other players when a drop you want never shows up. The game supports offline and online play, so a missing internet connection does not stop you. For a tougher run, hardcore mode sits alongside normal mode.
