A cat that sits on your desktop while you work

NoSlack Pets: Lo-Fi Paws is a desktop companion game built around Miino, a small cat that stays near the edge of your screen while you type, study, work, or take a break. It is designed to sit alongside your other windows rather than pull you away from them. You can drag Miino around, park it next to a window, or let it follow your cursor with its gaze. Alongside the cat you get built-in tools for focusing: a Pomodoro timer, Lo-Fi music, white noise, to-do lists, and focus statistics. The Cat Bus tucks those small tools away when you want a clean desktop and brings them back whenever you need them.

Collecting, decorating, and slow progress

Focus or idle for 30 minutes and you earn a Gift Box, which opens into a random piece of Headgear. Headgear dresses up Miino, feeds into Synthesis, and fills out your Collection; some pieces can also be listed on the Steam Community Market. Drop rates are weighted heavily toward Common items, with Uncommon and Rare appearing far less often, Epic very rarely, and Legendary pieces obtainable only through Synthesis. Headgear from Meow Code does not count toward Collection progress. Meanwhile a Piggy bank accumulates Paw Coins and XP that you claim whenever you like, and those coins buy houses, cat desks, and decorations. The current pool runs to 448 Headgear pieces and over 1500 decoration items covering outfits, homes, desks, room decor, desktop devices, and themed DIY pieces, so building a warm study desk, a Lo-Fi work corner, or a cat nook is a long, unhurried process.

Playing alongside other people

Online Co-op comes through the Online Study Room, a quiet shared space where you study, work, or idle next to other players and help each other open Gift Boxes. Some people focus together, some collect together, and some just finish small daily goals side by side. It is a low-pressure kind of company rather than a competitive mode.

Breaks between sessions

When you want a change of pace, there is fishing by the lake, a Pool Party scene where a mechanical claw grabs Gift Boxes for random rewards, and a set of light mini-games: Schulte Grid, 2048, Sudoku, Minesweeper, Match-3, and similar modes that give small rewards without demanding much. The whole thing is meant to be left open over time rather than finished in one sitting, so expect gradual accumulation rather than quick unlocks.
