What My Colony Is
My Colony is a sci-fi city builder where you start with a single lander and a rover, gather resources, and grow a settlement into an interplanetary empire. The tech tree is large and unlocks new structures, utilities, and special units as you progress. You can balance population, GDP, education, and security while scaling your economy. Four factions are available, each with its own tech tree, units, and play style: United Earth is balanced and tech-driven, the League of Independent States are resource-efficient rebels, the Zolarg Empire runs on insectoid swarm-style economics, and the Alpha Draconians are advanced reptilian overlords.
Playing Together
Multiplayer Regions let you cooperate or compete with friends, with each sub-city run by a different player on a shared map. Beyond running separate cities side by side, you can declare independence from your mother colony and start your own empire, with other players paying taxes to you. You can also form Federations with others to push up galactic leaderboards. Outside of direct group play, there are daily online challenges and the Galactic Board of Trade, a real-time auction house run by players, where you can trade goods.
Before You Start
Pick your mode first: a single-city sandbox or Premium Region Mode, which links cities across a shared map. Your faction choice matters early, since each one plays differently and unlocks different tech. The game works offline or online, and progress syncs with your Ape Apps Account, so you can keep building whether your group is online or not.
