A dating sim set at a monster convention
Monster Prom 4: Monster Con drops you into the Monster Con, a big convention full of video games, comic books, anime and some paranormal activity on the side. You have limited time to find a date among six monsters, and your choices decide how the story goes. The cast mixes old friends Zoe and Liam with four new characters, including a mimic who cosplays, an idol clown and an eldritch cutie. Along the way you meet the Con's staff and visitors: streamers, famous authors, washed-up actors and game developers networking in the halls. The writing leans into parody, memes and dark humor, and the run ends with one of several possible outcomes.
Playing together with friends
You can grab up to three friends or go through the Con alone. Online co-op lets you share the run, and Remote Play Together is supported as well. If you and your friends go after the same monster, the run turns into a competition for that character's heart. Online PvP is available for that head-to-head version of the story.
What to know before starting
Every run is a narrative adventure built on choices, so picking different options leads to different scenes and endings. One of the new mechanics is a comic book you assemble during the Con, which you see once the run finishes. Expect text-based scenes with visual novel presentation and a lot of dialogue, plus intimate conversations when you want to get to know a specific character better.
