Run and gun through six missions
METAL SLUG 2 is a 2D run and gun shooter from SNK, the second entry in the series. Arcade Mode takes you through the original arcade version from Mission 1 to Mission 6, where you fight through waves of bullets to stop General Morden's coup and uncover the secret behind it. The game keeps its classic pixel graphics, side scrolling action and arcade feel intact.
Play with a friend
Mission Mode lets you pick and replay any mission you have already unlocked, so you can practice a stage on your own or take it on with a brother-in-arms. Local co-op is supported, and Remote Play Together lets a friend join in over the internet as well. Between runs you can check the leaderboards to see your current rank and score against other players.
Before you start
The settings menu covers controls, language, video display and sound volume, so it is worth setting those up before your first mission. Note that the game will not run on Windows XP.
