What Twinsen's Quest is
Little Big Adventure – Twinsen's Quest is an action-adventure remake of the 1994 classic, rebuilt with new visuals, redesigned controls, and a new soundtrack by the original composer. You play as Twinsen, a model citizen turned fugitive, on a small planetoid with two suns where magic and technology sit side by side. Four species once lived in harmony there until the scientist Dr. FunFrock invented cloning and teleportation and put the inhabitants under his control. Twinsen's job is to end that clone occupation, using his mysterious Magic Ball to fight foes, explore landscapes, and work through puzzles. The remake keeps the original's structure while giving it a new artistic direction and a revamped level layout.
Playing through the adventure
This is a singleplayer journey: one person drives Twinsen around the world, exploring, platforming, and taking on enemies with the Magic Ball, which has been enhanced for the remake. The game mixes combat with puzzle solving and exploration across colorful, isometric environments, so sessions alternate between fighting, thinking, and wandering to see what's next. The story runs through deep themes as Twinsun's situation unfolds, giving the trip a narrative spine rather than a string of disconnected levels.
Sharing it with friends
The game carries Remote Play Together, so a friend can join your session over a connection even though the adventure itself is built around a single player. That makes it easy to hand the controls around, watch someone else tackle a tricky section, or talk through a puzzle together while one person plays. It suits groups who like following along with a story-rich game rather than everyone controlling a character at once.
Before you start
Expect a game that leans on exploration, platforming, and puzzle solving alongside its action, with a cartoonish, funny tone and a world full of magic. The controls and level layout have been modernized from the 1994 original, so it plays smoother than the classic, but the design still comes from that era. Whether you know the original or not, the remake is built to stand on its own as a complete quest through Twinsun.
