What Liftoff is
Liftoff®: FPV Drone Racing is a drone simulator built around first-person view flight. It uses fully simulated physics and advanced flight dynamics, so the handling aims to feel like real FPV flying rather than an arcade racer. You can fly on your own or join other pilots online for racing and freestyle sessions. The game is in Early Access and keeps changing based on feedback from the community.
Playing with your group
Online PvP is the main way your group meets up: everyone flies their own drone in the same session, either competing on a track or doing freestyle runs together. Drones are customizable, so each pilot can tune their setup before taking off. The game also includes a level editor, which lets you build your own tracks and share them with others, giving your group new places to race each time.
Before you start
Liftoff requires a remote or controller to play, so make sure everyone has one ready before the session. Expect a simulator rather than a casual racer: the realistic flight model means there is a learning curve, especially for newcomers, and crashes are part of getting faster. Since the game is in Early Access, features and handling may shift as updates land.
