A LEGO retelling of the film trilogy
LEGO® The Lord of the Rings™ follows the story-lines of all three films, from Frodo leaving the Shire to the road to Mount Doom. The epic events are re-imagined with LEGO humor, while the mini-fig characters deliver the dialogue from the films. Along the way you explore wonders, solve riddles, and fight Orcs and fouler things in your quest to destroy the Ring.
Playing together
This is a drop-in, drop-out co-op game, so family and friends can join or leave without disrupting the session. You travel through the open world of Middle-earth together, taking on epic battles against Orcs, Uruk-hai, the Balrog, the Witch-king, and other creatures. Steam's Remote Play Together feature lets others join in as well.
Before you start
You can jump between multiple story-lines using the Palantír or Seeing-stone. There are more than 80 playable characters to collect and unlock, including Frodo, Aragorn, and Gandalf. You also collect weaponry and magical items such as the Light of Earendil, Elven rope, swords, and bows. At the Blacksmith Shop you can collect, combine, and forge new items using Mithril, the most precious metal in Middle-earth.
