A Batman story built from bricks
LEGO® Batman™: Legacy of the Dark Knight is a narrative-led action-adventure from TT Games, the studio behind LEGO® Star Wars™: The Skywalker Saga. You follow Bruce Wayne from his early training with The League of Shadows through to his time as the hero of Gotham City, building a circle of allies that includes Jim Gordon, Catwoman, Robin, Nightwing, and Batgirl. Along the way you face a Rogue's Gallery that grows in threat, including The Joker, The Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, and Bane. The whole thing carries the signature LEGO charm, so the serious beats of the Batman legend sit alongside a lighter, playful tone.
Fighting and getting around Gotham
Combat is built around a new system that mixes fluid combos with stealth techniques and detective skills, letting you take on crime across streets and rooftops. Gotham City is an open world you cross by grappling, gliding, or driving. You can command a full range of Batmobiles and Batcycles, including the legendary Tumbler, and while moving through the city you will find crimes, challenges, rewards, secrets, and landmarks such as Arkham Asylum, Ace Chemicals, and Wayne Tower.
Playing together and what to add on
The Steam features list Remote Play Together, so one person can host and others join in over a connection. The store tags also list Local Co-Op, Co-op, and Multiplayer alongside Singleplayer, so check the game's own options once you are in to see how your group can team up. If you want extra content, the Deluxe Edition adds the Legacy Collection, which brings over 30 launch-day items across three themed packs: the Arkham Trilogy Pack, Batman Beyond Pack, and Party Music Pack. Each of those packs includes 7 suits, one for each playable character, a Batmobile, and a set of 5 Batcave customization props. The Mayhem Collection adds a new Story Mission and Mayhem Mode featuring The Joker and Harley Quinn, where you break out of Arkham Asylum as those two and cause chaos on the streets, plus a Sinister Pack with 7 suits, a Batmobile, and a Batcave prop set.
