A Time-Torn Action RPG in Eterra

Last Epoch sends you through the world of Eterra across different moments of time, where you face dark empires, wrathful gods and untouched wilds in an effort to save time itself from The Void. Dungeons, monsters and loot are the bread and butter here: you push into dangerous areas, clear them out, and come away with magic items to use or improve. Along the way you uncover the factions and secrets scattered across the timeline and fight to set it onto a new path. Expect a steady loop of fighting, picking up gear, and deciding how to spend your character's growing power.

Building Your Character

You start as one of five classes and, as you journey, ascend into one of 15 Mastery Classes that unlocks more specialized abilities and build options. The build depth comes from over 120 skill trees, with each skill carrying its own augment tree so you can reshape how it behaves. Skeletons can become archers, lightning blast can turn into chain lightning, and serpent strike can summon snakes to fight alongside you. Loot supports that customization: magic items can be crafted toward perfection, and unique and set items can change the rules of a build entirely. The crafting system is deterministic, which means you have real control over how your character's power progresses rather than only gambling on outcomes.

Playing With Friends

The game supports online co-op, so a group can run dungeons and hunt loot together. With five starting classes and a range of masteries between them, a party can spread out across different roles and skill setups instead of everyone doing the same thing. Each player's build choices still matter on their own, since the augment trees let the same skill play out differently depending on how it's specialized. Coordinating what everyone is running makes clearing content smoother, and the randomized loot means there is always another upgrade worth chasing on the next run.

Before You Start

Be ready for a game that is easy to pick up but demanding once you get deeper. Combat is approachable at first, but Eterra's tougher encounters call for actual mastery of your build and how your skills interact. Content keeps developing over time, so characters and systems gain new options as the game grows. Full controller support, Steam Cloud saves, adjustable text size, color alternatives, camera comfort settings and custom volume controls are available if you want to tune the experience. The game never sells gameplay advantages for real money, so progression comes from playing rather than spending.
