Two kiwi birds running a post office

KeyWe puts you in the feathers of Jeff and Debra, a pair of small kiwi birds working in a whimsical post office called the Telepost. Neither of them has hands, so everything gets done with jumps, flaps, pecks and butt-slams. Levers, bells and buttons are scattered across the mail rooms, and the birds have to physically hit them to type telegrams, send urgent messages, ship packages and keep the mail moving. The work takes you through post office desks, shipping rooms and the Telepost's various mail rooms, each one an interactive landscape you climb over rather than a flat floor you walk across.

Playing it together

The whole game is built around two players working side by side. You can buddy up on the couch or flock online, and there is also Remote Play Together for getting a friend in over the internet. Tasks are split between the birds, so coordination matters: one bird holds a lever down while the other moves the mail, or both hammer buttons at once to get a telegram out. If you would rather play alone, you can control both kiwi birds on a single controller and run the whole mail service solo.

Weather, hazards and dressing up your bird

The mail rooms are not a calm place to work. Wintery weather, autumnal thunderstorms and other seasonal hazards show up along the way, and you have to navigate them while still getting the deliveries out on time. Between runs there is a light customization layer: change the color of your kiwi's feathers and unlock new accessories, hats included, so your bird can be the best-dressed mail worker in Bungalow Basin. Expect a colorful, cartoonish 3D platformer with a co-op campaign, family-friendly tone and plenty of replay value once you have the routes down.
