Running a wrestling company from the booking desk

Journey of Wrestling is a text-based management sim where you build and run a wrestling promotion. You book matches, segments and feuds through a simple interface, then watch the results feed into storylines, rankings and awards. Beyond the ring work, you handle the business side: multiple brands, drafts, tournaments, factions, managers, staff roles like trainers, scouts, producers, doctors and talent managers, and deep stats on everyone on the roster. Wrestlers have skills and traits you can develop, plus creative paths you decide. Their morale matters — keep them happy by booking them well and answering their requests, or they may walk out and turn up on a competitor's roster. Competing promotions are active too: you can run ratings wars against them, slander them, trade talent, steal it, or eventually buy them out and inherit their wrestlers and championships.

Playing it together with friends

Local multiplayer lets your group compete or collaborate in the same game, and Remote Play Together is supported so friends can join in over a session. Sandbox mode removes limits, so a group can build whatever kind of universe they want without grinding against restrictions. Custom Company mode is the option for starting a promotion from scratch and growing it into an empire. There's also a tutorial to learn the systems, and scenarios you can browse or create yourself.

Scenarios, randomness and things to know before starting

'Passion of Wrestling' is a story scenario set in the 1980s where you try to keep a company of women's wrestlers afloat through impactful choices. The wider universe reacts on its own: random events like snow storms and backstage brawls force you to adapt and shape where the narrative goes. Expect a management-heavy, text-driven experience with pixel graphics rather than in-ring action — the fun comes from booking decisions, roster building and long-term planning. If your group wants a hands-on wrestling game where everyone argues over the card, this fits; if you want to control a wrestler directly in a match, it doesn't offer that.
