What HELLFRONT: HONEYMOON is
HELLFRONT: HONEYMOON is a top-down shooter with a tactical layer on top of the shooting. You conquer ground, build a base, produce fighters, and then hand those fighters orders while you fight yourself. It mixes the twin-stick shooting of an action game with the base-building and troop command of an RTS, and it does so at a fast pace. Matches are built to stay rapid and intense rather than dragging out. The setting is sci-fi, with aliens in the mix.
How your group plays it together
PvP supports up to four players, either online or local, so your group can fight each other in short, sharp matches. There are also three co-op campaigns you can run through with a friend, online or local, or tackle alone. Online Co-op, Online PvP, and Remote Play Together are all supported, and the game works with mouse and keyboard or gamepad, so people on different setups can join in.
Before you start
The game has a campaign you can play solo or with a friend, alongside the PvP side, so there is something for groups that want to cooperate as well as groups that want to compete. Matches are designed to be quick, and there is a speedrun angle with leaderboards if your group wants to chase times after the first playthrough.
