A Fighting Game Built for Everyone

Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is a 2D fighter that serves as a revamped sequel to GBVS. It aims to be accessible to newcomers while still offering strategic depth for veterans. A key feature is the simplified input system, which allows players to perform skills with a single button press. This removes the need to memorize complicated controls, letting you focus on the intensity of one-on-one combat right from the start.

Playing Together with Friends

This game is designed for competitive play with others. You can engage in online PvP matches to test your skills against opponents. For those playing in the same room, the game supports local multiplayer, allowing you to battle friends directly on one screen. Additionally, the Remote Play Together feature lets friends join in over the internet as if they were sitting next to you.

More Than Just Fighting

Beyond the standard matches, the game offers several other ways to spend your time. There is a story campaign that takes you through the vast skies of Granblue Fantasy, presented as an action RPG-inspired experience where you complete quests and grow stronger. For a lighter break, the Grand Bruise Legends mode provides an island lobby with attractions and online obstacle courses and survival games. You can also personalize your experience with character colors, weapon skins, and lobby avatars, or use the Digital Figure Studio to build dioramas from 3D models. Note that some features, including specific avatars and modes, are unavailable in the Free Edition, though online play works across all editions with save data transfers supported.
