A complete trip through Vana'diel
FINAL FANTASY XI: Ultimate Collection Seekers Edition is an online multiplayer RPG set in the world of Vana'diel. You create a character, head out into a world of fantasy, adventure, and exploration, and take on quests while discovering new creatures and pioneering wild lands. This edition bundles the original online role-playing game that brought the FINAL FANTASY series online together with all five installments: Rise of the Zilart, Chains of Promathia, Treasures of Aht Urhgan, Wings of the Goddess, and Seekers of Adoulin. It also carries three add-on scenarios (A Crystalline Prophecy, A Moogle Kupo d'Etat, and A Shantotto Ascension) and three battle add-ons (Vision of Abyssea, Scars of Abyssea, and Heroes of Abyssea), so the content is there from the start.
Playing with your friends
Online co-op is the point of the game. You and the people you group up with join players from around the world to become the hero that Vana'diel needs, sharing the journey through the world rather than running it alone. Character customization lets each person build a character that fits how they want to play, and the story-rich quests give the group something concrete to work through together. The soundtrack runs underneath all of it.
Before you start
This is a subscription-based game: new accounts come with a free 30 day subscription to play FINAL FANTASY XI. The Seekers Edition also includes a code for two exclusive in-game items, the Chocobo Shirt and the Destrier Beret. The Chocobo Shirt is a body piece with a chocobo-inspired choker and design, and the Destrier Beret is a hat filled with stats to aid adventurers just starting out, so both are aimed at early adventuring.
