A reforged MMO classic
Guild Wars Reforged is a third-person action RPG set in the world of Tyria, covering the complete saga from the fall of Ascalon to the stand against Nightfall. The game comes with system enhancements and is Steam Deck verified. It includes all three full campaigns: Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall, with hundreds of quests, challenging missions, and holiday event surprises spread across them. You get 8 character slots, and each slot can hold either a PvP-only character or a PvE roleplaying character. There is no monthly fee to play.
Playing together
Group up with other players to take on missions and dungeons, or fill out your party with reliable NPC henchmen and customizable heroes for tactical battles. Veteran players in the community regularly guide fresh recruits through content, including hard-mode challenges. When your group wants to compete instead of cooperate, PvP lets you test your team against other players. The PvE campaigns offer hard-mode versions of maps and missions as a way to push your own group further.
Building your character
You pick from ten professions and shape your playstyle by combining armor sets, weapons, and thousands of skills. Your ability arsenal grows as you explore new lands and defeat new foes, starting from your first skill capture up to elite armor. Expect to spend time on crafting and character customization alongside the combat. The world rewards exploration, with named sidekicks, outposts that lead into adventures, and story events that carry real weight across the campaigns.
