A Farm You Run Your Way

Farming Simulator 25 is a simulation game where you build and run a working farm. You can play on your own or join friends in online co-op. The work covers the full cycle: grow crops, tend animals, practice forestry, and handle the business side with farm shops, productions, and constructions. Three regions are available to build in: North America with winding rivers and historic grain elevators, Central Europe surrounded by ponds, and an East Asian landscape of rice paddies near a neon-lit port city. The crop list runs to 25 in total, including two types of rice grown on water-retaining fields, plus spinach, peas, and green beans. Greenhouse vegetables and various tree species add more variety. Livestock includes cows, sheep, pigs, chickens, horses, buffalo, and goats, with baby animals as well.

Playing Together

Multiplayer is online co-op, so you and your group work the same farm. With more hands, the daily load splits up: one person can run the fields while another handles animals, forestry, or the production and construction side. Machinery is shared across the farm, so coordinating who takes which vehicle keeps things moving. The game is built around deciding together what gets planted, what gets built, and how the business ventures are run.

Machinery and Field Work

The garage holds over 400 authentic vehicles and tools from more than 150 international brands, including Case IH, CLAAS, Fendt, John Deere, Kubota, Massey Ferguson, New Holland, and Valtra. GPS-assisted steering and improved automation let you farm more precisely, which helps when covering large fields. Weather now carries real consequences: twisters and hail can damage crops, so you have to prepare and assess the impact afterward. Ground deformation means tire tracks stay visible in the soil, and the range of new weather effects changes how the farm looks through the day.

Before You Start

The current version runs on GIANTS Engine 10, with improved graphics and physics, and the developer describes it as the most beginner-friendly entry for new or returning farmers thanks to accessibility and quality-of-life features. If you want to extend the game, the in-game ModHub offers developer-tested user creations. Expect a management-heavy pace: this is a game about running an economy over time as much as it is about driving tractors.
