A virtual tabletop for your group
Fantasy Grounds VTT is a virtual tabletop built for tabletop roleplaying groups, whether you sit around a physical table or connect online. It gives you the tools to run and play your favorite RPG: dice, character sheets, tokens, maps, and notes. The interface and visuals have been updated, and the platform supports a wide library of game systems. D&D 5E, 4E, 3.5E, AD&D 2E, and the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game are supported out of the box, and the included CoreRPG ruleset lets you run other game systems as well.
Playing together
One person runs the game as the Gamemaster while the others join as players. The Gamemaster loads a ruleset and campaign, and players connect to the session. You can create characters locally and bring them into a game session. The automated, interactive game mechanics handle math calculations and drag-and-drop functionality for monsters, NPCs, feats, abilities, spells, weapons, and armor, so you spend less time prepping and more time playing. Whether your group is in the same room or online, Fantasy Grounds VTT gives everyone the same shared table.
Before you start
This package is the CORE version of Fantasy Grounds VTT. With it you can run games as the Gamemaster, join games as a player, create characters locally, and build additional rulesets and modifications. The included library modules cover D&D 3.5E open gaming content from the SRD, D&D fifth edition open gaming content from the SRD 5, and Pathfinder RPG open gaming content from the PFSRD. Additional rulesets, token packs, map modules, and campaigns can be created and shared with friends. A low-cost monthly subscription is available if you prefer it. Screenshots may differ from what you see in-game depending on the extension and ruleset you have loaded.
