What EXIT 2 is about

EXIT 2 is a short, fast-paced horror game where one player hunts and the rest try to get out alive. Two sides share the same map: the Survivors and the Monster. Survivors run around picking up keys that are scattered across the area, carry them to the matching key stations, and once every station is powered up they can escape. The Monster's whole job is to stop that from happening, by chasing, sabotaging and picking off anyone who gets in reach. The result is a quick round with a clear goal and constant pressure on both sides.

Playing it as a group

Because it's built around online PvP, your group can split up: some of you queue as Survivors and one of you takes the Monster. Working together as a survivor means splitting the key hunt, watching each other's backs while someone hauls a key to a station, and knowing when to run instead of getting greedy. Playing as the monster flips your thinking completely — you are the one setting the pace, cutting off routes and punishing survivors who split up too far. Rounds are short, so it works well as a rotation game: whoever sat out the last one can swap in as the monster next time, and everyone gets a turn on both sides.

Choosing how you play

Both roles come with a selection of perks, so you pick the ones that fit the way you want to play rather than following one fixed build. Survivors can lean toward staying alive and moving keys faster, while the monster perks let you shape your hunting style. On top of that you can pick skins and voicelines to make your character feel like yours.

Before you start

Know that the game is tagged as difficult and dark: it's meant to feel tense, and the monster side is designed to genuinely threaten a team that plays sloppy. It's also tagged as short, so expect quick rounds rather than long sessions in a single match. The retro, stylized look and atmospheric tone set a horror mood rather than a realistic one, and controller support is listed if you'd rather play from the couch. Mods are part of the picture too, so check what your group wants out of a session before you jump in.
