ENDLESS Space™ - Definitive Edition is a turn-based 4X strategy game set in the ENDLESS Universe™, covering the space colonization age. You control every aspect of your civilization as you strive for galactic domination. The Definitive Edition includes all the expansions and updates released for the game, including ENDLESS Space™ Disharmony. The galaxy is ancient, and its first intelligent life was the civilization called the ENDLESS. Long before our eyes gazed upon the stars they flew between them, though all that remains of this people is Dust. This substance is found scattered or in forgotten temples, and it once gave powers to admirals and galactic governors. The galaxy will belong to the faction that takes control of the Dust and uncovers its secrets. You can guide one of twelve civilizations and choose how to pursue victory: control the galaxy through trade and diplomacy, explore the universe to find powerful artifacts and resources, overwhelm other civilizations with advanced technologies, or destroy enemies with massive armadas.
Playing together with friends
You can play against up to seven opponents and build up or break alliances at will. The game uses simultaneous turn-based gameplay, so players submit their moves together rather than waiting for each person in sequence. Ongoing online games support instant jump-in, letting someone join a match already in progress. You can also define your own custom civilizations and confront the ones created by your friends. When you would rather face the computer, the Adaptive Multi-Agent System (AMAS) drives AI opponents that provide a real challenge.
What to expect before starting
There are hundreds of star systems to explore, with different planet types, luxuries and strategic resources to exploit, mysteries within the Dust to master, and strange scientific phenomena to deal with. You can hire heroes to serve as fleet admirals or system governors, with five hero classes offering unique ability trees and specializations. Fleets can be optimized for battles around contested stars, with dozens of unique ships per civilization that you customize with modules, armament, engines and special mods. Each new game's scope is yours to control, from a quick match-up to an ENDLESS war. Random galaxies can be generated with adjustable size, shape, density, age and more, and you can choose from different victory conditions and adapt your strategy on the fly.
