A 4X fantasy strategy game on a dying world
ENDLESS Legend™ is a turn-based 4X strategy game set on the planet Auriga, a world with a history of unexplained apocalypse. Each turn, you manage the basics of a civilization: growing food, building industry, advancing science and magic, and collecting wealth. The planet's winters have been getting worse, with the last one being the worst on record after five previous winters of the same severity. You lead one of eight civilizations, each with its own gameplay style and storyline, while uncovering lost secrets, ruins, and legends scattered across the world. The game is played on a hex grid, and worlds are randomly generated with settings for size, shape, topography, and more.
Playing together with friends
Online PvP lets you and your friends compete against each other on the same map. Each player controls their own civilization, exploring, expanding, and developing their territory while contending with everyone else. You can define custom civilizations and pit them against the ones your friends create. Battles use a dynamic simultaneous turn-based system where unit equipment, abilities, and terrain matter. During a battle, you can zoom out and continue managing other parts of your empire without interruption.
What to know before starting
Victory conditions vary, so your strategy needs to shift as the game progresses. You can pursue trade and diplomacy with other civilizations, collect Dust, luxuries, and strategic resources for the marketplace, and assimilate minor factions for their special traits and units. Heroes can be hired, equipped, and trained as army leaders or city governors. Technology research unlocks advanced options, and artefacts and forgotten technologies add more depth. The Special Edition includes the minor faction "Ice Wargs," hero "Namkang," the custom faction trait "A song of only ice," and the official digital soundtrack by Arnaud Roy (FlybyNo).
