What Elements Divided is
Elements Divided is a 3D fighter built around elemental bending. You pick up fire, water, earth and air, and each one plays with its own style and strategy rather than being a reskin of the same moveset. Fire gives you blazing fireballs, water lets you bend massive waves, earth raises stone walls, and air summons shields. Across those four elements there are nearly 100 bending moves to work with, so the depth comes from learning which techniques fit together instead of mashing one button.
Movement matters as much as attacks. The controls are gesture-based and meant to feel instinctive, and you can defy gravity by hurling yourself across arenas. Expect fast, chaotic fights where positioning and momentum decide who lands the combo.
Playing it with your group
The game supports online co-op and online PvP, with brawls running up to 8 players. On the competitive side you can duel other players across a wide selection of maps, which is the straightforward way to settle who in your group actually knows how to bend. On the co-op side you team up with your crew and push through waves of enemies and bosses together, so the same move set reads very differently when you are covering each other instead of trying to break someone's guard.
Either way, the shared knowledge helps: everyone learning their element at their own pace means your group can compare what each element is good at and trade techniques.
Before you start
Ranking up happens per element, and each rank unlocks new bending techniques and abilities, so progress is spread across all four rather than concentrated in one. Sub-Elements add another layer on top of that: Lava, Metal, Blood, Explosion and Spirit are hidden powers you unlock to push your bending further. Expect to spend time in the earlier ranks before those open up.
Character customization is a big part of the package, with a large set of cosmetics to personalize your bender and show off your elemental style. The current version also includes new Techniques, new Maps and new Cosmetics alongside the Sub-Elements, so there is more to dig into than the base roster of moves.
