Large-scale WWII battles across six campaigns
Easy Red II is a tactical, realistic World War II shooter built around big, immersive battles. You play as an ordinary soldier, not a super soldier, and survival is never guaranteed. The base game covers 6 campaigns — Anzio, Monte Cassino, Tunisia, Operation Flintlock, The Battle of Makin, and The Invasion of Kos — with over 100 unique missions across recreated historical locations. Battles play out on large destructible open-world maps where forests are leveled, defenses are torn apart, and buildings are reduced to rubble as the fight goes on.
Fight together with a squad and combined arms
No one is sent in alone. You command squads of soldiers with different roles — Squad Leader, Radioman, Medic, Support Gunner, and more — each with unique abilities that can change the tide of a battle. Coordinate combined-arms assaults with infantry, tanks, artillery, and aircraft. Tanks feature detailed armor penetration, ballistics, and crew mechanics, so losing a crew member can cost you a function of the vehicle. Vehicles include the M4 Sherman, Willys Jeep, Churchill, Panther, and Tiger on the ground, plus aircraft like the Spitfire, P-51 Mustang, P-40 Warhawk, P-38 Lightning, F4F Wildcat, and Bf 109.
Play solo, in co-op, or in PvP
You can play completely solo against AI, or take the fight online with friends in both Co-op and PvP. Join a friend's squad or run your own, and create a match whenever you want, on any map you want. Missions can come from the base game, the Steam Workshop, or a custom mission you made yourself. The integrated map and mission editor lets you build and share your own scenarios, maps, and other content, with a dedicated Modding SDK for making mods. The game is also consistently updated with AI overhauls, animation updates, and free vehicle, weapon, and uniform additions.
