A low poly VR space to hang out in

Drop In - VR F2P is a free to play low poly social game space built for VR. You get a lobby to spend time in, mini games to mess around with, solo missions, and multiplayer game modes. The current build is Early Access, which means missions are still being actively developed and the game keeps changing as it moves toward a full release. DLC is planned for after Early Access ends, and Battle Royale dedicated servers are planned for the future as the game develops.

Playing together with your group

Squad up with friends and pick a mode: Apoc, Zombies, or Sandbox. There are cooperative and PvP game modes alongside social chill modes, so a group can either work through something together or fight each other. Red Vs Blue 1 v 1 Duals covers the competitive side, while the lobby mini games give you something to do between rounds: Quick Draw, Ping Pong, a Foosball table, and To the Top, a climbing mini game. Spatialized VOIP support is built in, so you can talk to the people around you in the space.

What to know before you start

Expect a shooter with a lot of gear to play with: guns, explosives like grenades, an RPG and a six chamber grenade launcher, plus melee weapons such as bats, knives and a crowbar. The VR side leans on interactive mechanics, physics objects and throwing, and you can drive vehicles, use zip lines, and spawn or reskin vehicles from a Vehicle Terminal. Zombies show up as an enemy type. Character skin customization and interchangeable gear let you set up how you look and what you carry.

Non VR support is in beta, so people without a headset can join in, but VR is the main way the game is meant to be played. Since it is Early Access, expect things to be in flux and features to land over time.
