Designing Your Ship
Down with the Ship is an auto battler where you build a hull piece by piece and fill it with hardware. Each round gives you a fresh selection of parts to buy: guns, reactors, shields, cursed relics, and more. You can lock parts you want to come back to later, then place them on your grid. Positioning matters as much as the parts themselves, since placement controls how resources flow and how item effects connect. A cheap common part can outperform a flashy rare if it fits your layout better.
Fighting Other Players
Once your ship is built, battles run on their own. You decide when your design is ready to send out, and it gets matched against ships other players have stored. Winning keeps your run alive; losing spends a life. Captains change your starting hull shape, passives, and build path, and you can pull parts from other factions to make your ship harder to predict.
Modes and Runs
Ranked Versus asks for 10 wins before your lives run out, with leaderboard placement on successful runs. Casual Versus lets you test builds against player ships without rank pressure. Endless Run keeps going past 10 wins until your ship has lost 5 lives. Since it is in Early Access, expect the balance and content to shift as development continues.
