What Dominion is
Dominion is the officially licensed digital version of the deck-building board game. Each player starts with a small deck of Estates and Coppers, then buys cards from a shared tableau of 10 kingdom cards to make that deck stronger. You are collecting Victory Points: the player with the most at the end wins. The base set is free to play, and the game includes a tutorial that walks you through the rules before your first real match. The core loop is simple to follow, but the card combinations give you plenty to think about.
Playing together
You can play with up to 6 players online, or use Pass & Play to share one device with friends in the same room. Set up a private table for your group, open a lobby for strangers, or invite a friend directly. Matches run in real time or asynchronously, and you can queue for ranked or unranked matchmaking. Cross-platform play means your group can join from different devices, and only the host needs to own expansions for a lobby game with expansions enabled. Remote Play Together is also supported, so one person can host and others can join in.
Before you start
The game ships with the base set free, while 16+ expansions and three promo packs add more cards and rules, including the Plunder expansion. With 500+ cards and expansion rotation, the kingdom combinations run into the hundreds of septillions, so no two games need to look alike. If your group wants practice first, solo play lets you face an AI that learns through self-play across four difficulty levels, with Achievements and Recommended Sets to work through. There is also a Daily Dominion puzzle, a leaderboard, and stats to track your progress. Smart-play options, automated score-keeping, hints, jumbo mode for phone readability, and turbo mode are there to keep the pace moving. The game runs in English, Japanese, German, and French.
