A story across four kingdoms

Disney Princess: Enchanted Journey sends you through four levels, each one built around a classic film and its own magical world. You meet Cinderella, Ariel, Snow White and Jasmine, and each princess has a separate story to work through. The goal in every kingdom is the same: help the princess restore order and push back the forces of evil. Along the way the game leans on themes of courage, friendship, trust and discovery rather than on hard combat.

Making the heroine yours

Before the adventure starts you build your own character. You pick dresses, accessories, hair, skin tone, eye color and a name, so the heroine you play is one you put together yourself. That character then travels through all four levels, meeting the princesses and taking on the challenges in each kingdom.

Playing with friends

The Steam version lists Remote Play Together, which lets someone join you from their own machine while you host. The game itself is tagged as Singleplayer, so the core experience is one player running through the levels; Remote Play Together is the way a friend can watch along and share the session. Keep that in mind when you plan a group night — this is a story-driven adventure meant to be played through rather than a multiplayer mode with lobbies and teams.

What to expect going in

Expect a casual, family-friendly adventure with a first-person view, exploration and light action rather than demanding platforming or combat. The levels are described as beautiful and fun-filled, with a strong soundtrack and a story-rich structure. It suits a group that wants to sit back, watch the kingdoms unfold, and hand the controller around between princesses' tales.
