Cleaning up a ruined Earth
Disney•Pixar WALL-E puts you in the treads of the small robot whose job is to compact Earth's garbage in the year 2700. Every other collector has stopped working, so he carries on alone, stacking cubes and picking up odd souvenirs along the way. The game follows the film's story: WALL-E's quiet routine changes when EVE arrives to check on the planet's clean-up progress, and the trek eventually leaves the surface and heads across space. The play mixes third-person platforming with puzzles, and you also use WALL-E's tools in combat sections.
Making cubes and solving rooms
A core trick is WALL-E's ability to form cubes from the junk around him. You drop those cubes to build platforms, reach higher ledges, or set them as distractions while you work past hazards. Rooms are built around this idea, so you spend time looking at the space, deciding where a cube helps, and combining it with WALL-E's movement to move forward. The solo adventure carries the story, and the puzzles sit inside it rather than being separate challenges.
Playing with friends
Up to four players can join in mini-games that sit alongside the main adventure. These range from timed races through space to competitive battles, so a group can switch from the story to short contests when everyone is together. The Steam version lists Remote Play Together, which lets people join from their own machines. Check that feature before you plan a session, since it depends on your setup.
