What Disc Space is

Disc Space is a multiplayer Ultimate Frisbee game played in 3D with a third-person camera. Matches run online with up to 10 players, and you can set them up as 3v3, 4v4 or 5v5. The matches are team-based, so the size of the lobby decides how big the game gets. You can play against other people or fill a side with Computer AI if you want a match going without waiting for a full group.

Playing together with friends

You can put your group into a team and play against each other, or bring in strangers from matchmaking if your group is short. Pick the format that suits how many of you showed up: 3v3 for a small crew, 4v4 or 5v5 when more people join. Since sides are symmetrical, everyone on a team gets a real role in the match rather than sitting out.

Choosing your specialization

Before you start, you pick a specialization that shapes how you play: Handler, Cutter, Cannon, Newbie or D-Machine. The choice fits different play styles, so it is worth talking through with your group before the match. If you are new to Ultimate Frisbee or to the game itself, the Newbie option gives you a gentler starting point, while the others let you lean into more specific roles on the field.

What to know before you start

Everything happens online, so you need other players or the Computer AI to fill a match. Decide with your friends whether you want a friendly session or something more competitive, then lock in team sizes before kick-off. Once the specializations are set and both sides are ready, the match is straightforward: get the disc downfield as a team and score.
