A fast, unforgiving team shooter in London

Dirty Bomb is a first-person team shooter set in a London crippled by a string of 'dirty bomb' attacks. The Central Disaster Authority works to restore the city while the criminal syndicate Jackal disrupts and steals their technology, throwing the capital into chaos. Mercenaries from across the globe are hired by both sides. The game takes shooters back to their purest roots: no controller support, no aim assist, just player skill and reaction. It will not hold your hand.

Playing together as a squad

Your group fights as a team in online PvP matches. Over 20 distinct Mercenaries are available, each with their own abilities and attributes, so you can split roles across the squad and cover each other. Two game-modes are on offer. In Objective mode, you battle through parts of the city, completing objectives to reach the finale before time runs out. Stopwatch mode is the competitive version of Objective, where teams swap sides mid-match to see who's faster. Coordination matters: work together or die alone.

What to know before starting

The game is free to play, and real money purchases have been removed. RADs are gone entirely, replaced by Credits, which are earned in-game. Credit earn rates sit at around 70 per minute and vary based on player performance, with Credit Boosters in Advancement Crates to boost the rate further. Contracts and Daily Play Rewards can also net you thousands of Credits. Loadout Cases, crafting materials, weapon cases and keys, and various Merc Loadouts all cost Credits, and Steam trading is enabled for Loadout and Weapon Cards. Expect a fast-paced, highly competitive match where aim and reaction time decide the outcome.
